Twisted Fairy Tales
An author friend of mine drew my attention to an anthology's call for twisted fairy tales. In other words, we take the creative liberty to add a twist or a new spin on a commonly known fairy tale. Mind became the blend of two fairy tales with the addition of werewolves and vampires. (No, the vampires don't sparkle.)
Yes, the short story did take me away from my larger goal of completing the novels, but the practice of exercising my writing brain in a different capacity was enjoyable and ultimately allowed me to see a different perspective for a bit.
The anthology will be released the first week of November. I'll keep everyone updated here and post a link to the publisher when the anthology becomes available. Until then, can you guess who these two are?
