Fantasy is a genre that I grew up loving, but when I couldn't write my own as a pre-teen I gave up on fantasy altogether. Recently the ideas for the Elemental Affinity series began pouring from my subconscious and I sat down to write it out. These truly are the books that I have been wanting to write for the past twenty years, and I'm so excited to finally be able to share them with you.

I earned my bachelors degree in history with a minor in English from Montana State University in 2005. Armed with my newfound knowledge in my favorite subject areas and the secondary certification to teach high school; I found work in small and large Montana high schools. Yet all my work centered around my minor in English. I decided to expand my minor and worked my way through graduate school. I graduated in 2011 with a Masters in English. Currently I am an adjunct writing instructor for our local university.
